We are looking for:

The Customer Technical Development (CTD) function within Specialty Polymers delivers high-value technical expertise to customers by leveraging our full portfolio, resources, and know-how.We are seeking a creative, curious, proactive, and agile engineer to join our Technical Development team, supporting Life Solutions markets (consumer, construction, healthcare, advanced packaging, advanced separation).
In this role, you will provide technical application development expertise to customers while collaborating closely with commercial teams, R&D, and manufacturing to deliver complete, innovative solutions.

You will bring:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, or similar
  • Experience with polymers in a technical role is a plus
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of polymer physics, material selection, and processing
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing (e.g., extrusion, injection or compression molding) is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude, including part/tooling design and failure analysis
  • Ability to work independently and build strong relationships globally
  • Strong communication, customer focus, and problem-solving skills

 

 

You will get:

  • The Belgian annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is:  €85,000 €124,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
