Based in Belgium, the Hard Services Expert will report to the Facilities Sites Coordinator. To deliver specialized services in the domain of Facility Management, while respecting budget and performance requirements.
Main output:
- Qualitative Facility Management services in own domain;
- Facility Management projects;
- International project management in own domain.
Key responsibilities:
- Stay updated about the latest techniques, evolutions and regulations within the (own) Facility Excellence domain(s), and evaluate their possible use for the Group;
- Mission and service offer:
a) Provide advice regarding the service offer in the own domain;
b) Propose innovative solutions and continuously improve services in the own domain;
- Provide Facility Management services:
a) Implement standards, concepts and programs within own domain(s) of expertise;
b) Plan on a daily basis Facility Management activities;
c) Follow up the delivery of Facility Management Services by external service providers;
d) Manage and follow up Facility Management projects, and report on their progress;
e) Make requests for the purchase of materials and services and approve purchases within own budget limits;
f) Manage complaints and provide feedback to the internal customer;
g) Propose and take corrective actions.
- Ensure continuous improvement and the introduction of new facility management concepts:
a) Support in the Country / Site the implementation and promotion of new concepts for facility management such as Smart Working (change management);
b) Keep updated about practices and facility management concepts within own domain, propose innovations and opportunities of Development;
c) Manage as a specialist in his/her domain international;
d) Facility management projects or advice colleagues from other sites regarding the introduction of new concepts.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulation, quality standards and company policies:
a) Deploy, follow up and ensure compliance with the HSEQ regulations and company policies,within own domain(s).
- Manage the activity
a) Follow up budget, related to external service providers;
b) Implement quality control programs according to corporate standards;
c) Manage administration;
d) Report daily on the progress of the service delivery.
Education and Experience:
- Master degree or similar or equivalent by experience;
- More than 5 years of relevant experience;
- Advanced/Fluent English;
- Communication, problem solving and change management skills;
- Excellent management and coaching skills;
- Knowledge of budget and reporting concepts;
- Ability to manage, through KPI’s, procurement contracts;
- Knowledge of procedures, processes and relevant equipment/tools in a specific facility excellence domain;
- Knowledge of HSE regulations (CMR, EPA permit/IPPC/Seveso/ATEX/DSEAR…) is a plus.
