Join Syensqo's Corporate M&A team and play a leading role in shaping the company's portfolio transformation.
Reporting to the Head of M&A, you will lead either international acquisition, divestitures, carve-outs and joint ventures from opportunity assessment through signing and closing. This is a pure M&A execution role—not a corporate strategy position—offering significant exposure to senior leadership, cross-border transactions and increasing responsibility as the company continues to actively reshape its portfolio.
We are looking for an experienced transaction professional who combines strong financial and commercial judgement with outstanding execution skills and thrives in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and joint venture transactions.
- Manage transaction workstreams from origination support through due diligence, negotiation, signing and closing.
- Build and challenge financial models, business valuations and investment cases to support Executive Committee decision making.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across Business Units and Corporate Functions to deliver transactions on time and to the required quality.
- Lead preparation of transaction materials including teasers, information memoranda, business plans, vendor due diligence, carve-out documentation and Board presentations.
- Manage relationships with investment banks, legal counsel, accounting firms, tax advisers and other external partners.
- Partner closely with Legal on transaction structuring, SPA negotiations and completion mechanics.
- Present recommendations and transaction updates to senior leadership throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Support integration planning and separation planning where required to enable successful execution beyond signing.
Skills & Background
- MUST have minimum 6-10 years' experience executing complex M&A transactions.
- Experience gained within:
- Corporate M&A at a leading industrial company (ideally chemicals, advanced materials or manufacturing)

Proven ability to independently manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

Why Join Syensqo?
- Join a highly active Corporate M&A function executing international transactions across a global specialty chemicals portfolio.
- Work directly with senior executives and Business Unit leaders on strategically significant deals.
