Based in Belgium, the Soft Services Manager will report to the Site Facilities Manager of Belgium.

His/her mission will be to deploy, within the framework of the Group standards, Facility Management projects and to manage, in an operational way, the Facility Management services and contracts related to soft services (catering; cleaning; event management;...) ensuring that these services respond to the needs of the internal customers.

Main output:
- Qualitative and cost-effective Facility Management services at Belgium Site;
- Team effectiveness.


Key responsibilities:
- Define mission and service offer:
a) Deploy the roadmap within Syensqo site Facility Excellence organization;

b) Understand the needs of Syesnsqo site customers and identify opportunities to improve the service offer.
c) Follow up the budget;
d) Continuously review and improve the Facility Excellence service offer and delivery model and ensure market competitiveness;
e) Translate corporate KPI’s.

- Provide Facility Management Services: 
- Ensure continuous improvement 
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulation
- Manage the department/activity:
a) Follow up the entity’s budget, objectives, policies and procedures;
b) Report to management results and development realized in the department; 
c) Deploy control mechanisms to ensure safety standards are implemented;
d) Deploy a quality management system and organize quality controls.

Manage the team:
- Develop and evaluate the members;

- Developed and exchanged within the team;
- Participate in the evolution and promotion of team members.

Education and Experience:
- Master degree or similar or equivalent by experience;
- More than 5 years of relevant experience;
- French (mandatory);
- English;
- Communication, problem solving and change management skills;
- Excellent management and coaching skills;
- Knowledge of budget and reporting concepts;
- Ability to manage, through KPI’s, procurement contracts
- Knowledge of procedures, processes and relevant equipment/tools in a specific facility excellence domain

Additional Information:
- Working model:
Hybrid (4 days/week in office) with possibility of 1 day working from home, upon Managment approval.
