Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a Performance & Automation Intern, you will support the Global Business Services (GBS) organization in maintaining performance reporting routines, developing dashboards, and identifying opportunities to automate manual activities. You will work closely with Service Performance specialists and stakeholders across multiple Service Lines to improve data visibility, reporting efficiency, and decision-making through the use of Microsoft technologies.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop analytical, reporting, and automation skills while gaining exposure to a global shared services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Performance Reporting Activities
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and other performance meetings
• Support the collection, validation, consolidation, and maintenance of KPI data across Service Lines
• Ensure the timely preparation of reports, presentations, meeting materials, and executive summaries
• Help maintain reporting calendars and performance governance routines
• Monitor data quality and identify discrepancies in performance reporting
Dashboard Development & Data Visualization
• Support the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports
• Assist in designing visualizations that provide insights into service performance, customer satisfaction, and operational metrics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business needs
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation activities
• Help document dashboard structures, data sources, and reporting processes
Automation & Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation
• Support the development of automated solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps
Data Analysis & Business Insights
• Support the analysis of performance indicators and trends
• Help identify improvement opportunities based on data findings
• Assist in preparing presentations and recommendations for leadership discussions
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and service performance reporting initiatives
Education and Experience
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or related fields;
• Expected graduation within the next 1–2 years;
• Previous internship, academic projects, or coursework involving analytics, reporting, or automation is a plus;
• Experience with Power BI projects (academic or professional) is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
Required
• Advanced English;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
• Good knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling and dashboard creation;
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Basic data analysis skills;
• Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources.

Additional information:
