Electrical Engineer Intern

We are looking for:

We are looking for an electrical engineering intern to join our team in Welland, CA to support site electrical infrastructure upgrade projects.

 

 

We count on you for:

  • Verify questions on IO List by interfacing with on site personnel 

  • Field verifying drawings & field configurations for the project team 

  • Liaison between project team and site maintenance, operations and technical team to gather information and answer questions for the project team

  • Escort contractors such as engineering designers for site visits 

  • Interface with construction manager for electrical infrastructure upgrade project & complete safety observations in the field 

  • Attend project meetings for site electrical & controls infrastructure projects

  • Gain an understanding of capex tools and use of tools to support the project manager

  • Update single lines & other electrical drawings by redlining drawings and sending out to be CADed 

  • Work with site maintenance team to get power monitors installed in key locations on Train 1 and manage gathering the data for study

You will bring:

  • A current BS/MS student in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

  • Applicants must be fully authorized and certified to work in Canada

  • Willingness to take ownership of the project actions assigned to you

  • A collaborative, inclusive, and team-oriented way of working
