APAC Capability Partner

We are looking for:

  • An experienced APAC Capability Partner to help shape the future of talent and capability across our APAC region.
  • This is a strategic HR role focused on strengthening talent and organizational capability across the region. You will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Regional HR Managers and business leaders to identify and develop critical talent, build future-ready capabilities, strengthen succession pipelines and drive a consistent, insight-led approach to talent and capability development.
  • As the key link between HR partnering teams and the central Capability Centre of Excellence, you will translate business needs into actionable talent and capability priorities that strengthen organizational performance and future readiness. 

 

We count on you for:

Talent Planning & Capability 

  • Establish and lead the regional talent planning cadence across APAC. 

  • Design and facilitate regular talent forums that identify talent priorities, succession risks, capability gaps and development opportunities. 

  • Translate business insights into prioritised capability initiatives for the central Capability team. 

  • Monitor regional talent trends and ensure common capability needs are addressed consistently. 

Business Partnership 

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Regional HR Managers to align talent strategies with business priorities. 

  • Provide expert guidance on talent management, succession planning, leadership development and capability planning. 

  • Equip HR teams with practical tools, frameworks and data to support effective talent conversations. 

Talent & Succession Management 

  • Support the identification and development of high-potential talent. 

  • Guide HR teams in creating robust development plans and career pathways. 

  • Strengthen succession planning for critical roles and identify actions to close capability gaps.  

Capability, Learning & Leadership Development 

  • Assess and prioritise regional capability, skills, and leadership gaps based on business impact and future workforce needs.  

  • Partner with the Capability team to design targeted learning, leadership development, and coaching solutions.  

  • Strengthen leadership effectiveness by building coaching capability and fostering a culture of continuous feedback.  

  • Lead or contribute to strategic talent, capability, and leadership development initiatives. 

 

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in Talent Management, HR Business Partnering, Organisational Development or Learning & Development. 

  • Strong expertise in talent planning, succession planning and performance management. 

  • Experience designing or improving performance management frameworks. 

  • Ability to facilitate senior talent reviews and influence stakeholders across multiple business areas. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate workforce insights into practical actions. 

  • Experience managing complex projects across regional or global organisations. 

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills. 

  • A collaborative approach with the ability to build trusted relationships across HR and the business.
