We are looking for:

A student with practical, hands-on experience in aerospace or aerocraft composites, and a basic understanding of material storage, cutting, lay-up, curing, machining, and testing, or with a solid understanding of composite part fabrication.

Adhere to Syensqo HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, procedures, and 5S guidelines. Actively contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of HSE standards and procedures.

Conduct composite coupon testing and characterize composite materials under appropriate supervision or guidance.

Develop an understanding of, and demonstrate the ability to fabricate, parts with complex geometries under supervision or guidance.

Perform trials and experiments to evaluate material processability.

Observe processes, collect and document relevant information, and support basic data analysis.

Complete necessary training to become a competent user of equipment and hardware within the facility.

Demonstrate the ability to balance assertiveness with flexibility.

Maintain a practical and grounded approach to work.

You will bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science or Engineering.

Solid English reading and writing skills.

Basic understanding of the characteristics and properties of composite materials, or a solid understanding of composite part fabrication processes.

Familiarity with auxiliary materials, tools, and equipment used in composite panel or part fabrication.

Demonstrates a proactive approach and a positive, “can-do” attitude. Able to work independently while contributing effectively to the team.

Diligent and detail-oriented, with the ability to observe, record, and track findings accurately.

Proficient in basic IT skills such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with CATIA or CAD is a plus.
