Computational Chemistry Research Intern

We are looking for:  

  • A student who is passionate about computational chemistry and has related experience.   

 

We count on you for:  

  • Support R&D activities in computational chemistry, such as simulating physical properties of molecules and polymer system; 

  • Perform literature review on project related topics; 

  • Support the Lab safety management, including daily 5S maintenance (chemicals and equipment are not involved) and HSE information updating. 

  

You can count on us for:  

  • On-job training and practical instructions from experienced scientist 

 

You will bring:  

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or computer science & technology; 

  • Good knowledge of computer modeling/simulation is a plus; 

  • Good knowledge of molecular dynamics software (such as Gromacs, Lammps) and DFT software (such as Guassian, Turbomole) is a plus; 

  • Good knowledge of data analysis is a plus; 

  • Good knowledge of programming languages is a plus; 

  • Experience in Linux/Unix is a plus; 

  • Good communication skills; 

  • Teamwork; 

  • Diligent and self-discipline; 

  • Interactive; Open-minded; 

  • A full-time internship for 6 months is an ideal option. Internship time for 3-6 months / at least 3 days per work are also accepted.
