Computational Chemistry Research Intern

Role and Responsibilities

Support R&D activities in computational chemistry;
Improve existent methodology for investigating polymerization processes; Perform Quantum Chemistry simulations, investigating chemical reactivity;
Perform data analysis and visualization;

Experience and Skills

Bachelor or Master degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or computer science & technology;
Good communication skills and proactive mindset;
Capability to communicate in English is required;
Proven experience in C++ (python is a plus, but not mandatory) is a must;
Experience in Linux/Unix is a great plus;
Good knowledge of Quantum Chemistry (QC) modeling/simulation methods (such as DFT) and QC software (Gaussian, VASP, or similar) is a great plus;
Good knowledge of data analysis is a plus;
Good knowledge of programming languages is a plus;
Teamwork;
Diligent and self-discipline;
Interactive and Open-minded;
A full-time internship for 6 months/1year.
