Job overview:
The Customer Technical Development (CTD) role is designed to deliver on-site and remote technical support focused on the injection molding process for customers in Green Hydrogen, Consumer, Construction and Medical industries in the region. The role focuses on resolving customers’ technical challenges involving Syensqo’ s materials, translating customers’ unmet needs to development opportunities and supporting the innovative development through MIP procedure, while collaborating with internal teams to enhance competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to customers using Syensqo’s materials in a timely manner, including on-site troubleshooting and remote guidance.

Work closely with commercial teams and customers on the technology development on project basis. Leverage technical expertise and R&I resources to resolve the challenges including material selection, design/tooling optimization, injection molding and assembling process…

Support customers in their production, conduct on-site assessments and if necessary using lab resources on failure analysis to identify potential root cause for further optimization.

Monitor and validate industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements related to focused markets to ensure technical support compliance and competitiveness.

Identify potential new opportunities with targeted customers and bridge technical communication between customers and internal team to translate the VOCs to clear material CTQs, support R&I on solution development and customers’ evaluation.

Document and report technical data including trial reports, technical promotion package, regular team reports…

Deliver technical seminars or training to customers and internal stakeholders on new material/application, new technology…

Support market intelligent analysis through benchmarking studies based on the technical requirements of targeted applications. Develop value propositions with marketing to share with customers/market.
Qualifications:

Min. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry engineering, Material science, mechanical engineering or a related technical field.

5+ years of technical support or research experience in the fields related to Design and injection processing technology of Plastic Polymers .

Profound understanding of polymer chemistry, material properties, structural part/tooling design, equipment and processing technology for targeted markets.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills-able to diagnose complex issues under pressure.

Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal cross-functional teams with strong influencing skills.

Highly motivative, cooperative and teamworking

Strong business acumen (customer-oriented mindset)

High mobility: 50~70% travel
