We are looking for:
A deputy Plant Manager in Zhangjiagang

Leading the HSE team to achieve the company's health, safety and environmental management goals.

Manufacturing practices to assure a high degree of safety and process capability.
We count on you for:
-
Compliance with HSE regulation, quality standards, and company policies: develop, implement, and enforce site HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policies and ensure resource availability; manage crisis situations and ensure accurate HSE reporting. Integrate HSE objectives and projects into site planning and budgets, collaborating with relevant departments.

Establish and maintain good government/community relations; assist in completing various HSE-related administrative permits/approvals for the company; be responsible for compliance with the Chemical Weapons Prohibition Treaty.

Deploy and implement the HSE management system, including ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, safety standardization, C-TPAT, etc.

Coordinate the organization to identify HSEPT risks, assist in developing remediation plans, and eliminate/mitigate potential risks

Sustainability of the production site: develop and gain approval for a long-term vision for the site; identify and address long-term risks; supervise industrial projects and ensure sustainability of site expertise (knowledge management);

Manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation: promote and steer innovation and continuous improvement programs on site; and support change agents and foster a culture of continuous improvement;

Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the Company policies and applicable laws.
You will bring:
-
+10 years of experience in the chemical industry.
-
Broad knowledge of general chemical and engineering disciplines usually gained through a degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent Engineering or Chemistry discipline.

Working knowledge of all Health, Safety and Environmental standards, particularly related to personnel and process safety, air, waste, and water compliance.

Working knowledge of cost accounting as it relates to manufacturing operations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Leadership skills are necessary for directing, motivating, and developing subordinates.

Negotiating skills for working with governmental regulatory agencies, customers and local bargaining unit.

Active Community involvement experience.
