We are looking for

Procurement Sustainability Analyst Trainee to help advance Syensqo’s sustainability ambitions across the procurement organization.

 

We count on you to

Working with the Procurement Sustainability Growth & Innovation team, procurement buyers, suppliers, and key stakeholders (including Corporate Sustainability and Ethics & Compliance), you will support the development and deployment of key ESG initiatives, strengthen supplier sustainability performance, and contribute to climate-related actions across our supply chain.
You will report to the Procurement Sustainability Growth & Innovation Director.

  • Offer hands-on exposure to sustainable procurement in a global specialty chemicals company.
  • Provide opportunities to work in a multicultural, cross-functional, international environment with internal and external partners.
  • Support your learning and development in ESG assessments, supplier sustainability programs, and carbon footprint management.

 

You will bring :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in parallel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Personal qualities: passion for sustainability, autonomy, structure, proactivity, problem-solving mindset, collaborative approach, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

 

You will get :

  • Practical experience in supplier ESG performance monitoring (including EcoVadis assessments and sustainability audits).
  • Experience supporting supplier onboarding, tracking progress, and maintaining sustainability data.
  • Building dashboards, reports, and analyses to support decision-making on supplier ESG performance.
  • Contributing to supplier engagement on the Syensqo Supplier Code of Business Integrity and ethical/compliance standards.
  • Exposure to Climate & Carbon initiatives, including Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data collection and supply chain emissions reduction efforts.
  • Development of analytics, project management, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability expertise.

  • Scope: Procurement sustainability (ESG supplier performance, Supplier Code of Business Integrity, Climate/Carbon initiatives)
  • Language: English required
  • The expected annual base salary for this position is reasonably between 1000€ and 1400€. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and may ultimately be higher or lower than the stated range.
