We are looking for:

A skilled and visionary Security Service Lead to manage and transform our global security infrastructure. In this role, you will take ownership of key security services—including firewalling, SASE, and network security—ensuring operational excellence while leading a team of security engineers and service providers. You will play a critical role in shaping the strategic roadmap and delivering secure, scalable solutions aligned with Syensqo’s business needs.

 

We count on you to:

Lead operations and team performance

  • Manage a team of security engineers, managed service providers, and vendors to deliver secure and reliable services

  • Act as the main point of contact for all security services, handling business needs, improvements, and service requests

  • Ensure SLAs are met for both operational and service-level requests

Drive strategy and service transformation

  • Define and implement a vision and roadmap for transforming and enhancing our security infrastructure

  • Own the service backlog, prioritizing improvements and aligning with business objectives

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align security services with organizational needs

Service ownership and lifecycle management

  • Oversee the lifecycle of security products: firewalls, secure web gateways, remote connectivity, and more

  • Maintain an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure effective asset management

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive service catalog, including defined workflows and processes

Budget and vendor management

  • Manage contracts and renewals in partnership with procurement and third-party vendors

  • Track and optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for all security-related products

  • Monitor and manage service budgets for cost-efficiency and strategic investment

Security assurance and compliance

  • Implement security measures that ensure high levels of protection across services

  • Conduct annual audits and penetration tests to evaluate and strengthen the security posture

  • Provide security performance reporting to the cybersecurity team

Technologies you’ll work with:
Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX), Palo Alto & Fortinet firewalls, Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco ISE, AWS, Azure, EntraID

You will bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field

  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in security service management

  • Demonstrated experience leading security initiatives in large-scale, complex environments

  • Deep technical knowledge of firewalling, SASE, and network security technologies

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities focused on operational excellence and security impact

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
