We are looking for: 

A CTD Engineer (gn)  with a special focus on electrification in the automotive sector. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and external partners to promote and develop new applications for Syensqo’s specialty polymers.

We count on you for:

  • Providing technical consulting to automotive customers, solving application challenges, and supporting the selection of our specialty polymer solutions for electric powertrain (e‑drive) systems.
  • Providing proactive technical consultation and subject-matter expertise to anticipate and solve customer challenges
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and key industry players
  • Identifying new market opportunities and presenting innovative applications
  • Training customers, resolving technical complaints, and representing Syensqo at technical conferences

 

You will bring:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in technical support or research related to design and injection / extrusion processing of plastic polymers
  • Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry, material properties, part/tooling design, and processing technologies
  • CAE/Moldflow proficiency and excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently (50–70%) within DACH and Europe

 

You will get:

  • The German annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: €80.320 to €133.560
    Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.

Additional information:

  • This role can be performed fully remotely (100% remote) and includes regular customer visits.
