We are looking for:
An experienced Reliability Engineer will be a member of the technical services team who will be accountable for sites Reliability program with focus on early detection of defects and defect elimination. This Reliability Engineer will be accountable for asset performance in relation to sites’ Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) program and have knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, financial resources, tools, reports and leading efforts to improve reliability and support Operational Excellence.

  
We count on you for:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for equipment reliability improvement by working with the Operations and Maintenance organizations
  • Manage all aspects of the plant’s Mechanical Integrity Reliability Program, leading team problem solving groups, implementing maintenance standards (lubrication, vibration, balancing, alignment, precision maintenance, bearing handling, etc.), Predictive/Preventive Maintenance optimization, failure analysis, vibration analysis and all necessary reporting
  • Uses KPI reports and SAP historical logs to identify areas of the process that are not performing satisfactorily and implement Asset Management
  • Strategies to correct including proactive maintenance strategies, machine modifications, capital investment needs, changing operating procedures, etc.
  • Evaluates and implements appropriate preventative maintenance schedules and predictive maintenance technologies
  • Apply Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Failure
  • Analysis (RCFA) to improve plant performance
  • Assist in the development of training for Technician, including:

           1. Machinery lubrication best practices, 2. Power transmission alignment and maintenance, 3. Vibration and infrared analysis, 4. Pump and solids handling maintenance

  • Interface with equipment suppliers to improve overall equipment reliability
  • Provide Technical Support of projects to ensure optimal life cycle performance
  • Assist maintenance in the scope of equipment repair and provide troubleshooting assistance/failure identification to Operations
  • Responsible for improving MTBF & MTTR of critical rotating assets
  • Active involvement in site OEE program and maintaining equipment Bad Actors List
  • Develop and optimize the maintenance strategies of Critical rotating assets
  • Assist with the design and management of sites Mechanical Integrity program
  • Key member in the development and execution of the shutdown timelines. Ensures that all critical reliability tasks are performed during the shutdowns
  • Accountable for sites Piping mechanical integrity program with focus on early detection of defects and defect elimination
  • Ability to review welding procedures, NDT reports, and piping specifications, and take necessary actions as needed.

 You will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 to 12 year’s experience in manufacturing; Familiarity with chemical processing industry equipment
  • Team leadership skills
  • Project concept, premise, and economic justification development experience
  • SAP PM experience a plus
  • Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Hands-on field machinery expertise preferred
  • Small project management skills.
