Job Purpose

The CISCO LAN/WiFi & Infoblox Build and Support Expert is responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing support of Cisco LAN and WiFi infrastructure, as well as Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) solutions across Syensqo’s global network. This role ensures secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity and network services for all users and devices, acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for Cisco networking and Infoblox technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implementation
• Lead the architecture, deployment, and configuration of Cisco LAN (switching), WiFi (wireless), and Infoblox DDI solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Integrate LAN, WiFi, and Infoblox solutions with existing network and security infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security, application, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business needs.
• Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide advanced technical support for Cisco LAN, WiFi, and Infoblox environments, including incident response, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex network and DDI-related issues.
• Monitor network health, performance, and security, proactively addressing potential risks and outages.
• Continuous Improvement
• Stay current with Cisco and Infoblox product updates, industry trends, and best practices.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to improve network security, reliability, and efficiency.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for IT Level2 staff and end-users support group.
• Compliance & Governance
• Ensure network and DDI deployments comply with Syensqo’s security policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and documentation reviews as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with significant hands-on experience in Cisco LAN (switching), WiFi (wireless), and Infoblox DDI solutions.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco wireless controllers and access points, and Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM platforms.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, 802.1X, wireless security, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP, Infoblox Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
