About the job

We are seeking a hands-on Drupal Technical Analyst / Developer to join our Digital Solutions team.
 This hybrid role combines Drupal development expertise with strong analytical and coordination skills.
 You will be directly involved in designing, building, and supporting Drupal-based cloud platforms, while also bridging business needs with technical implementation.

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and enjoys working across the full delivery lifecycle—from requirements analysis to deployment and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Technical Delivery

  • Design, build, and maintain Drupal websites, modules, and themes hosted on Acquia Cloud.
  • Develop and enhance features using PHP, JavaScript, SASS, jQuery, and Node.js.
  • Integrate and configure third-party APIs and services within Drupal.
  • Manage version control, CI/CD pipelines, and environment automation using Composer, Drush, Docker, and GitLab.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure high standards of site performance, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and optimization.

Analysis & Coordination

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA teams, and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups) and contribute to sprint goals.
  • Support automation testing (Behat), user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment validation.
  • Monitor site performance and SEO alignment, and provide data-informed technical recommendations.

Documentation & Quality Assurance

  • Maintain clear and complete technical documentation and process flows in Jira and Confluence.
  • Ensure all development and deployment practices meet internal standards and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of code quality, tooling, and delivery processes.

 

 

Education and experience*

Min 3 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining Drupal-based web applications.

 

 

Skills and behavioral competencies*

Familiarity with modern web technologies and tools including:

  • Drupal, PHP, JavaScript, SASS, jQuery, Node.js
  • Composer, Drush, Docker, GitLab CI/CD
  • Acquia Cloud, Monitoring tools, CDN & WAF management
  • Third-party integrations, Automation Testing (Behat), and SEO
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum delivery models

Strong ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.

Analytical mindset with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

 

Language skills*
