We are looking for:

In the context of a rich portfolio of Salesforce products, Syensqo is seeking a Functional Analyst to join our newly established capabilities center in Pune. You will take part in our CPQ transformation program - supporting the implementation, rollout and stabilization of quoting tools across two major platforms. As a key bridge between business and technical teams, you’ll help define requirements, test new functionalities, analyze issues and support the Product Owner with day-to-day execution of the roadmap.

We count on you for:

  • Preparing and refining user stories and acceptance criteria for new CPQ functionalities

  • Performing business and functional analysis to clarify scope and break down complex requirements

  • Supporting UAT activities — including writing test cases, executing test plans, and documenting results

  • Helping investigate and reproduce issues reported by users (e.g., pricing errors, quote behaviors)

  • Contributing to root cause analysis and proposing functional/system improvements

  • Supporting backlog grooming and sprint planning together with the Product Owner

  • Acting as a liaison between developers, testers, and business stakeholders

  • Preparing documentation, release notes, and training materials as needed

  • Analyzing pricing behavior and performance (e.g., quote duration, approval flows, price realization) using reports and dashboards





Education and experience*

Indicate the required education in terms of minimum years of education, required type of degree, field of studies, etc. and the required knowledge and/or experience in terms of minimum years of experience in the respective field 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, IT, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Pricing Analyst

  • Previous experience working on pricing or CPQ tools (e.g., SAP VC, Vendavo, PriceFX, PROS, Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, etc.)

  • Strong experience with business process mapping and translating needs into user stories or technical specifications

  • Comfortable with functional testing, issue tracking, and end-user feedback gathering

  • Good command of tools like Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, filters), and ideally experience with dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Salesforce Reports)

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps

  • Good to have (but not required):

    • Exposure to Salesforce Sales Cloud or Salesforce CPQ

    • Experience with quote-to-cash or pricing optimization processes

    • Hands-on experience using Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration tools

    • Understanding of approval workflows, discount management, or contract terms in a sales process
