The SAP Procurement specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing our procurement processes through the strategic use of technology. This individual is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the solutions supporting the different procurement processes, such as SAP MM, SAP SRM7, SAP Ariba Commerce Automation.  It is also a key player in the shaping of Syensqo’s future IT landscape.

We are looking for:

  • Specialist to design, build and maintain reliable and cost efficient IS solutions aligned with businesses and end-to-end process requirements of Procurement to Pay

  • Support business and process experts in improving processes and tools currently in use in order to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and compliance, including market watch

  • Handle and provide best support requests and ensure business continuity

We count on you for:


Monitor & Support current SAP SRM7 and SAP MM applications: 

  • Knowledge on SRM7 technicality 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues

  • Support End Users

  • Maintain up-to-date technical and user documentation

  • Coordinate tasks with external providers of managed-services

  • Ensure business continuity

Deploy, Enhance and Transform the SAP Procurement IT landscape :

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the functionality and performance of existing  procurement applications

  • Provide technical guidance

  • Run projects from preparation to delivery

  • Optimize the integration between different applications

  • Contribute to projects related to deployment of existing applications, and to projects to build new applications

  • Design, test and build IS solutions

  • Collect and analyze functional requirements

You will interact with different key stakeholders on the business side and on the IT side:

  • Global business services, like Provisioning Manager, Service connection team leader and other  Provisioning specialists, experts, etc. 

  • GBU Coordinators/key-users

  • IT experts from other functional or technical domains

  • Architects & Cybersecurity leads

  • Managed-services providers (support,development, consulting services)

  • Primarily work schedule will be CET

  • Be available on-call on a rotating schedule to handle major issues outside of IST working hour


You will bring Competencies:

  • A minimum of 5 years of SAP SRM7 EHP4 / SAP MM ECC 6.0 and above  Support experience 

  • Must have at least one full lifecycle SAP R/3 + SRM7 implementation experience (Project Preparation to Go-Live/Hypercare)

  • An experience in project management and in an international environment would be a plus

  • Must have a solid experience with the SAP SRM7 structure building, user maintenance, approval workflows, RFC integration and enhancement implementations

  • Knowledge of SRM7 integration with ECC systems for processing

  • Able to read and understand ABAP code

  • Experience with LSMW, IDOCS, SAP Query & Interfaces

  • Ability to analyze functional and technical needs, identifying gaps and alternative solutions

  • Ability to evaluate impact of configuration or process changes

  • Ability to resolve configuration and functional business issues

  • Ability to write functional system specifications, as well as Business BluePrint documents

  • Ability to analyze functional and technical needs and identify gaps and alternative solutions relative to existing design.

  • Ability to evaluate impact of configuration or process changes across MM and other SAP modules.

 

Education and experience*

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement jobs; experience in the procurement function will also be considered.

  • Demonstrable experience supporting SAP SRM7, SAP MM 

  • experience in S4 Hana is a plus.

  • Experience in leading IT projects.

  • Interface knowledge with SAP and Non-SAP systems.
