Syensqo is seeking an experienced Telecom Engineer to join our Global Telecom team. This critical role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Telecom solutions, playing a key role  for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of PABX systems on a global scale. The role requires a deep understanding of telephony systems, network integration, monitoring tools, and customer support to ensure seamless communication solutions for the organization. The engineer should also be knowledgeable about various PABX features and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Implementation:

1. • Design telecom solutions tailored to meet organizational needs.
   • Implement telephony systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
   • Configure telecom hardware and software, including PBX systems, VoIP, and unified communications.
   • Define different solution based on users’s needs (profile)

2. Maintenance and Support:

2. • Monitor telephony systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to telecom systems.
   • Perform regular system updates and maintenance to ensure security and efficiency.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

3. • Work closely with IT teams and other departments to align telecom solutions with business objectives.
   • Provide training and support to end-users on telephony systems and features.
   • Liaise with vendors and service providers to manage contracts and service agreements.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

4. • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures.
   • Generate reports on system performance, usage, and incidents for management review.

1. Educational Background:

1. • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Professional Experience:

2. • 5/10 years of proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining telecom solutions, preferably with Avaya, Mitel, or Microsoft systems.
   • Experience in managing VoIP and unified communications systems.
   • Familiarity with network infrastructure and protocols related to telephony.

3. Certifications:

3. • Relevant certifications such as Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS), Mitel Certified Associate, MS Field Expert are advantageous.
   • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent networking certification is also a plus

1. • Strong understanding of telephony systems, including PBX, VoIP, and SIP protocols.
   • Proficiency in telecom hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting.
   • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, and switches.
   • Experience working in a global environment, supporting telephony systems across multiple regions and time zones.
   • Understanding of international telecommunication standards and regulations.
   • Experience with cloud-based telephony solutions and unified communications platforms.
