We are looking for:
- A proactive and trusted Cybersecurity Domain Lead to join Syensqo’s Growth and Digital Innovation team. In this central role, you will enable secure and successful digital transformation by working closely with specialized teams—whether focused on artificial intelligence, data, or other emerging technologies
- You will assess needs, establish effective security practices, and foster the right team behaviors for delivery excellence
- Your focus will be on supporting, coaching, and empowering teams to deliver secure, innovative solutions, even in challenging or high-pressure situations, while ensuring compliance and process alignment
We count on you to for:
CISO Office Representation
- Serve as the CISO Office’s representative within the assigned IT domain, ensuring alignment with Syensqo’s security strategy and objectives
Active Partnership & Coaching
- Collaborate closely with team members, providing hands-on support, constructive challenges, and coaching to help them achieve their goals—especially during high-pressure situations or when facing complex challenges
Delivery Enablement
- Identify and remove obstacles to progress, facilitate practical solutions, and ensure that security is an enabler for digital operations rather than a barrier
- Work with the team to embed security into project delivery from the outset which will be done in coordination with the Security in Projects team (SIP.)
Fostering Team Behaviors
- Promote and model the right security behaviors, encouraging a culture of shared responsibility and continuous improvement
- Help teams adopt practices that support both operational excellence and robust cybersecurity
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key member of the Digital Operations management team, building strong relationships across domains and functions
- Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, navigating complex or sensitive topics with diplomacy and a solution-oriented mindset
Solution-Oriented Approach
- When challenges or sensitive issues arise, actively seek alternatives and facilitate progress, rather than simply enforcing boundaries
- Encourage creative problem-solving and help teams find secure paths forward
Compliance & Process Alignment
- Ensure that all digital operations adhere to relevant internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Integrate compliance and process alignment into broader delivery and innovation activities
- This will be conducted in close alignment with the CISO Office Security in Projects Team (SIP.)
Continuous Assessment & Improvement
- Regularly assess current security practices, identify areas for enhancement, and drive the adoption of improved processes and technologies
- Support teams in implementing changes that strengthen both security and operational performance
You will bring:
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security, IT operations or related roles
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, vulnerability management and compliance assessments
- Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional security initiatives and drive results
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus

- Fluent English
