We are looking for:

  • A dynamic self-motivated Supply Chain leader able to manage the SC execution on an End-to-End basis for P&Cs Italian Ospiate plant, whilst also contributing to the Business and EMEA Supply Chain functional objectives and aspirations.

  • A key player who, within a complex Supply Chain context, manages both the daily execution of SC safety and customer delivery satisfaction, and also drives a strong continuous improvement mindset to the Supply Chain practices and processes.

  • A passionate leader able to foster a spirit of high collaboration and results focus from the site supply chain team, able to network and influence the Business community and across the EMEA Supply Chain function to resolve issues, gather and then implement best practice, and move the site supply chain to the next level. Passionate about her/his own team, keeping the working environment lively and dynamic.

 

We count on you for:

  • Ensuring SC HSE performance, adherence to standards & regulations, and fostering a safety mindset

  • Ensuring compliance to group & local procedures / policies (eg COBI, financial controls & guidelines..) 

  • Through the local Supply Chain team, oversee daily shipment planning & execution, SAP order processing (including costing), transport engagement and shipment tracking, ensuring the highest service levels to our customers.

  • Ensuring appropriate supply planning, and plant scheduling (driving plan attainment and schedule adherence) for both finished products, raw material and packaging, respecting stock targets.

  • Coordinating with site functions (production, HSE, labs, engineering ... ), overseas SC colleagues and external partners (vendors, toilers, suppliers...), to drive a collective focus on service and efficiency.

  • Direct site warehousing and plant logistics / loading activities, engaging with shopfloor teams.

  • Be the key point of contact for Supply Chain topics in relation to the site, trouble shoot issues, liaise with business colleagues and service providers to drive ever higher levels of performance.

  • Support timely and thorough complaints investigation and implement corrective actions. Oversee OTIF analysis and define and track improvement plans.

  • Most importantly, have an oversight of the relevant supply chain processes with a continuous improvement mindset, seek out best practices and embed them for future performance growth

  • Manage own organization/team, developing talent and coaching them to performance and success, independently defining priorities, and effectively managing resources

  • Accountability to drive on Supply Chain Metrics => Site SC Safety Incident Rate, OTIF, Complaint handling & repeat rate, order promising cycle time, SC cost (FC+VC), adherence to inventory / SMOG targets.

You will bring: 

  • Proven ability and experience within the Supply Chain context of a multi-national chemical / process company, working in a diverse environment.

  • High Supply Chain performance driving strong results for activities including customer delivery processing, site logistics, plant scheduling / supply planning.

  • Agility to take ownership and manage both punctual detailed SC situations, and also the vision to set a path for the site's Supply Chain evolution, driving continuous improvement towards best practice industry standards and beyond.

  • Advanced leadership and people management, team player and team builder, high collaborator, flexibility to adapt both in the moment but with the continual context of a changing environment

  • Strong stakeholder engagement building a strong network bringing influence both within the site and with the wider business organisation.

  • A higher level qualification (degree level) in Supply Chain Management or related fields (eg Business, Economics, SC Management, Engineering etc).

  • SAP / SC Systems / IT Skills highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills.

  • English essential, Italian language a very strong advantage

The Italian annual base salary reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is between € 60 to € 93.  Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
