Deputy HSE Manager

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the GBU HSE Team
• Train, coach, and mentor site level HSE resources on key requirements
• Advise HSE Manager and Site Managers on potential regulatory gaps and provide assistance on strategy to resolve.
• Manage consultant interface with sites to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Collaborate across the organization by participating in subject matter teams
• Identify development opportunities to enhance HSE competencies
• Coordinate or participate in assessments and audits.
• Develop good relationships with colleagues and site to ensure close collaboration
• Promote a culture of engagement through open communication
• Establish effective networks within the company and with external organizations
• Interface with regulatory agencies as needed in consultation with Syensqo Legal
• Provide technical guidance and support to industrial sites
• Conduct periodic site visits to assess compliance and performance

 Requirements

• Master’s degree in STEM disciplines.
•  At least five years' experience as RSPP in a Seveso site.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of  D.Lgs. 81/2008 (Testo Unico sulla Sicurezza).
• Knowledge of environmental regulations - D.Lgs. 152/2006.
•  Knowledge of D.Lgs 105/2015.
• Knowledge of UNI EN ISO 45001 e UNI EN ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience in managing internal and external audits
