We are looking for:

A Key Account Manager to grow new business for the Automtive market in the northern part of Mexico (Monterrey, NL) and identify, recommend and/or acquire innovations and new technologies which are strategic to the Business Unit. This talent will manage, protect and ensure promotion and delivery of innovation projects to achieve business objectives for new product / applications launches and develop growth initiatives with Sales, you will need to have hunter mindset to outperform competition and maximize growth in the region.

  • Strategy Development: Define and implement marketing and sales strategies for key accounts in alignment with the Global Business Unit (GBU) strategy.
  • Commercial Planning: Develop and update regional and global key account plans, ensuring alignment with the commercial roadmap and achieving KPI objectives.
  • Customer Management: Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Pricing and Contracts: Lead contract negotiations and manage pricing strategies to ensure sustainability and competitiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and drive innovation.
  • Project Management: Identify new sales opportunities and support product launches through effective project management.

You will bring: 

  • Proficiency in Spanish and English both written and oral.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field required.
  • Previous experience with specialty polymers preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in Marketing/Sales in polymers – Automotive industry preferably
  • Experience in engaging, developing and commercializing New Accounts
  • Assemble a coherent and focused regional growth plan
  • Ability to travel

Additional information:

  • This position is remote but home needs to be located within 2 hours of driving of Monterrey Mexico.
  • This position reports to the Mexico Sales Manager.
  • Visa to travel to the US is required
