Are you ready to launch your career in finance with a global leader in advanced materials and specialty chemicals? Syensqo is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Credit Management team!

About the Role:

As a Credit Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, while also learning the fundamentals of Credit Analysis and Cash Collection. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the financial health of our organization.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Accurately applying incoming payments (via bank transfers, checks, credit cards, etc.) to customer accounts and invoices,

• Reconciling payment discrepancies and ensuring all payments are correctly allocated,

• Regularly reconciling customer accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded and discrepancies are resolved,

• Investigating and correcting any inconsistencies or unapplied payments,

• Preparing regular reports on accounts receivable status,

• Highlighting potential risks or issues to management,

• Ensuring all AR processes comply with company policies and relevant regulations,

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for audit and reporting purposes.

• Assist in credit analysis to evaluate customer creditworthiness,

• Participate in cash collection activities and help resolve payment issues,

• Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with customers to ensure smooth financial operations,

• Contribute to process improvements and reporting.

Your Profile:

• Currently pursuing, or finalized a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field,

• Strong analytical and organizational skills,

• Good interpersonal skills,

• Good communication skills in English (other languages are a plus),

• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
