Are you passionate about international trade and eager to develop your expertise in a dynamic, global environment?

We are seeking a motivated Global Trade Domains Trainee to join our team for a 12-month immersive training program.

This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience in key Global Trade domains — Customs Classification, Trade Preference, Country of Origin, and Valuation—while working alongside industry experts.

We will count on you to:

• Execute and Optimize: Support and enhance key global trade processes, ensuring Syensqo’s businesses navigate opportunities and risks in a constantly evolving trade landscape.
• Collaborate Globally: Work closely with Global Business Units, Product Stewardship, and local experts to drive end-to-end analysis and deliver impactful solutions.
• Ensure Compliance: Contribute to maintaining the highest standards of Global Trade operational management, with a focus on zero non-compliance.
• Document & Analyze: Maintain thorough documentation and rationales for trade decisions, supporting transparency and continuous improvement.
• Teamwork: Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual support within a dynamic, international team.

You will bring :

• University degree (preferably in Chemistry, International Trade, or related fields)
• Strong interest or experience in chemicals and/or international trade
• Analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication and proactive problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills are valued
• Curious, autonomous, open-minded, and passionate about making an impact in Global trade
