We are looking for a Logistic Intern to support Syensqo’s logistics and supply chain teams in ensuring safe, compliant, cost-effective, and on-time movement of materials (raw materials, intermediates, finished goods) while contributing to continuous improvement across transport, warehousing, and planning processes.
We count on you to:
- Assist with shipment coordination (inbound/outbound)
- Support export/import preparation and checks, depending on site scope.
- Help monitor delivery performance and follow up on delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Collect and analyze logistics data (e.g., OTIF, lead time, freight cost, detention/demurrage, warehouse performance).
- Assist with identifying trends and propose actions to improve reliability, cost, and service level.
- Follow site rules and contribute to Syensqo’s safety culture.
- Weekly/monthly KPI report and performance insights
- Improved SOP / work instruction for a logistics process
- Root cause analysis on a recurring delivery issue
- Cost/service improvement proposal with quantified impact
You will bring:
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, International Relations, Logistics or related field
- Good communication skills, with a supporting mindset
- Problem-Solving capabilities
- High level of initiative
- Quick learner/willingness to learn and develop
- Autonomous
- Fluent in English and French (both written & spoken)
You will get:
- The Portuguese annual base salary reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: €11,280.00 for applicants who have completed or are completing a Bachelor's degree and €12,480.00 for applicants who have completed or are completing a Master's degree.
