We are looking for: 

  • The Manager IT Finance will oversee IT operations across all financial domains within Syensqo, including Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Accounting & Controlling, and Investor Relations. The role is responsible for leading the team, managing IT finance contracts, and ensuring effective incident/service management & project delivery while serving as the key bridge between IT and Finance to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and value from IT investments.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT finance specialists and analysts.

  • Oversee daily team operations, set clear goals, and manage performance reviews.

Incident & Risk Management

  • Collaborate with IT operations and service management teams to good IT services & performance
  • Ensure financial and contractual implications of major incidents are evaluated and managed.
  • Develop processes to minimize financial risk and exposure related to IT disruptions.
  • Handle interaction/stakeholder management  with the business around Incident & Risk Management

Contract & Vendor Management

  • Oversee IT financial contracts, including negotiation, renewals, and compliance.
  • Manage relationships with key IT vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure all contracts align with budgetary constraints and corporate governance.

Governance & Reporting

  • Provide senior management with correct reports and assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Implement governance frameworks for IT finance, contracts, and incident-related financial risk.

Project delivery

  • Monitor project progress and risks, providing regular updates to stakeholders and implementing corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensure correct project managers or Product owners own the projects. 
  • Ensure good resources & capacity management in a team. 
  • Handle interaction/stakeholder management  with the business around Project delivery.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ITIL, CIPS) is an advantage.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT Finance, financial management, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT operations, incident management processes, and vendor/contract management.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Result orientation, influence & impact.
  • Empowerment & accountability.
  • Team spirit, building relationships, collective accountability.        
  • Strong leadership capability, executing as appropriate in the areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others.
