PIM Product Owner

As Product Information Management (PIM) Lead, you will play a pivotal role in Syensqo’s digital transformation. You will ensure the integrity, accessibility, and strategic use of product data, directly supporting our mission to empower customers and enable scientific breakthroughs. Key Responsibilities
Vision & Strategy:
•    Define and champion the end-to-end strategy for product data management, from ideation to market launch;
•    Map and optimize product data processes across Research & Innovation, Sustainability, Sales, and Marketing;
•    Assess current tools and data flows to identify gaps and opportunities;
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the target state for product information management, aligning with business and IT strategy;
•    Contribute to enterprise data governance and management transformation programs.

Roadmap Leadership & Execution:
•    Prioritize and manage the PIM roadmap, focusing on business value and customer experience;
•    Lead solution assessment and initiative definition with Data, Digital Growth & Innovation IT, and AI teams;
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding product features and enhancements;
•    Maintain and prioritize the product backlog; manage project plans, timelines, resources, and budgets;
•    Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear requirements and timely delivery;
•    Identify and mitigate project risks; ensure successful product releases and adoption;
•    Prepare and manage contracts related to PIM projects and operations;
•    Analyze product performance and user feedback for continuous improvement;
•    Train business users to maximize tool adoption and value realization.

Operational Excellence & Maintenance:
•    Serve as the service owner for the existing Content Serve PIM tool, ensuring reliability and scalability;
•    Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams;
•    Oversee daily collaboration with developers to maintain tool functionality and integrations;
•    Monitor operational costs and ensure maintenance remains within budget;
•    Conduct regular data quality checks and collaborate with business units to validate product information.
 
Qualifications & Experience:
•    Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar leadership role in product information management;
•    Expertise in data transformation projects and PIM systems;
•    Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and IT project delivery;
•    Familiarity with AI tools and digital product development;
•    Understanding of the manufacturing B2B market, especially in Sales & Marketing;
•    Experience implementing product finder or PIM tools is highly desirable.
