Job Overview 

Based in Portugal, you will join a team of 8 colleagues located in Brussels and Portugal. As Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely administrative and payroll services related to Payroll, Pension, and Benefits for Belgium (Netherlands and Luxemburg are out of scope for this mission).

We’ll count on you to:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager for BeNelux, your main responsibilities will include :

• Managing employee information and databases (using SAP & Success Factor)
• Administering salaries (monitoring, closing, and following up on monthly salaries, bonuses, allowances, etc.)
• Processing confidential data
• Handling the invoicing process
• Preparing fleet management reports
• Managing and monitoring Time absence/attendance
• Dealing with certificates, social documents and other relevant documents
• Extracting and monitoring information for reporting purposes
• Managing administrative tasks at the start and end of contracts
•  Monitor staff requests via an internal ticketing system

You will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Law, Accounting, …or similar.
• Knowledge and experience in payroll process and systems
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google tools, with advanced skills in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets)
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and time management skills
• Curious and eager to develop new knowledge
• Attention to detail to maintain the highest operational standards

• Proactive and autonomous working style
• Collaborative attitude
• Fluent in French and English, Dutch is an asset

You will get:

• The Portuguese annual base salary reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is €19440 to €26643.  Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
