Production Planning Trainee - 7 month Internship

We are looking for:

• A Tolling Production Intern to support Toll Planning team in managing the execution of the scheduling and posting for Global Polymer Additives Tolling Plant Operations, as well as raw materials and packaging plan to support the detailed schedule
• Key deliverables for this role include :
  • Execution of Tolling Master Plan
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders (Logistics, Quality, Product Management, Tollers, Procurement, external Suppliers etc.) to make sure Plans are met 

We count on you for:

• Tolled Production Process orders release in SAP & sending work instructions to Tollers via email
• Prepare blend plans (with detailed instructions on batch & quantity to use) with the help of Quality team (utilization of Slow Moving and Off Grade (SMOG) inventory)
• Coordinate label supply for Tolled finished goods
• Place Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP with external Suppliers for raw materials to Tolling sites
• Place Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) in SAP to bring raw materials from Syensqo Distribution Centers to Tolling sites
• Allocation of raw material Off Grade batches in SAP for shipments between plants and Tollers 
• Process goods receipts in SAP for inbound raw materials to Tolling sites
• Tolled Production posting in SAP 
• Prepare monthly Raw Material Purchase Forecast files
• Participate in internal and external meetings (e.g. Demand Review, Supply Review, Bi-weekly calls with Tollers, Monthly RM Forecast Review, SMOG review, etc.)
• Support Toll Planning team to address urgencies (e.g. schedule realignment further to unforecasted demand, urgent blend plans, realignment of raw materials STOs/POs , urgent trials, etc.)
• Support Toll Planning team to reconcile Physical Inventories at Tolling Plants

You will bring:

• Bachelor degree in relevant subject
• Fluency in English 
• Supply Chain Experience (with Planning and/or Logistics Focus) is preferred but not required
• Preferred Chemical Industry experience
• Third Party Collaboration experience is preferred but not required
• Advanced EXCEL/Google suite expertise, SAP Experience is a plus 
• Ability to multitask with good time management skills
• Very detail oriented and results driven
• Excellent communication skills

Additional information:

• Location: Campolide - Lisbon, Portugal
• Hybrid working model (at least once per week at our office)
• 7 month Internship
