We are looking for:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth through distributors and channel partners across key market segments, including Electronics & Industrial, Automotive, Consumer, and Construction in South Korea. This role will develop and execute strategic partner business plans, build and convert a robust opportunity pipeline, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure superior customer experience and operational excellence.
We count on you for:
- Drive sales growth through distributors and channel partners in South Korea, achieving agreed revenue, margin, and pipeline targets.
- Develop, implement, and monitor joint business plans with channel partners, including regular business reviews, governance meetings, and performance tracking.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through disciplined pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within channel partners, OEMs, Tier suppliers, and end users to expand market penetration.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Business Units, Product Management, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Marketing, and Technical Support teams, to deliver customer value and resolve commercial or operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with commercial policies and processes, including pricing governance, contract management, and customer master data management.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to support business strategy and portfolio development.
You will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of successful commercial experience within multinational companies selling high-performance polymers, engineering plastics, fluoropolymers, specialty materials, or related products.
- Demonstrated success in channel partner management, distributor development, account planning, and commercial negotiations.
- Strong understanding of industrial value chains and customer engagement models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Korean and English.
- Experience serving customers within the Semiconductor, Electronics, Chemical Processing, or Advanced Manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record of working with OEMs, Tier suppliers, and end users.
- Technical understanding of polymer materials and their applications in industrial markets.
