We are looking for: 

  • A chemist to be responsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Control (QC) procedures, including testing methods for all materials. The role involves preparing chemicals/reagents and performing material testing as requested by stakeholders. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee the proper operation and maintenance of high-performance laboratory equipment. 

 

We count on you for:   

  • Implement and monitor QC methods, processes, and procedures in accordance with written technical papers and reports; prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests. 

  • Perform analytical tests, validate test results, and report batch completion: Ensure accurate storage of data and documentation: Prepare chemical/ reagent for material testing; Conduct testing on raw material and in-process and finished products. 

  • Maintain QC document in place 

  • Assess the effectiveness of laboratory equipment, methods, and procedures, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Investigate any quality deviations and incidents, contributing to corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) 

  • Archive and maintain up-to-date QC-related documentation. 

  • Direct, control, and coordinate activities and operations within the team. Implement and monitor training programs for technicians and operators. 

  • Manage and optimize laboratory equipment to ensure high performance. Ensure laboratory equipment verification is conducted according to established plans. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

You will bring:  

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in chemical plants, specifically in quality control or a related field. 

  • Experience in quality management, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and business excellence. 

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field. 

  • Strong knowledge of chemical analysis, mathematical tools, and statistical analytical techniques. 

  • Knowledge of Management systems such as QMS, TQM, 5S etc. 

  • Problem solving and decision-making knowledge 

  • Proficient in the operation, handling, and maintenance of laboratory equipment. 

  • High responsibility and flexibility in the working hours. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills 

  • Computer literate 

  • Good command of written and spoken English 

  • Strong analytical skills 

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001). Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are strong advantages. 

  • Willingness to accept the rotating shift job.
