Production Area Coordinator

Position overview: (what are the main missions, biggest challenges, present the context and the organization of the team)

  • Production paperwork preparation for all work cells

  • Coordinate upset conditions: Quality / Equipment / Material issues

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement meetings as needed

  • Conduct Quality Contact: Discuss recent NCNs, recent CC's, recent audits/findings. Ask for opinion on how to fix a chronic quality issue. Follow up as applicable.

  • ECNs for all areas

  • Create weekly shift report

Performance objectives: (what success looks like, highlight challenges and expected outcomes)

  • Actively participate in morning production meeting. This includes running the meeting on alternating weeks.

  • Shippad and Intermediate Blues updated daily for delivery of products on time and in full to customers.

  • Participate in AITs and Projects related to the PAC roles

  • Create weekly shift report after Work Cell Buy Offs for upcoming week

  • Learn about staffing through tracking Overtime, vacation and staffing

  • Understand Union Contract to be able to properly award time off (Jury Duty, vacation bereavement, school events, etc) within the guidelines

  • Take on new tasks as the position evolves.

  • Attend Shippad/LBE and OTIF meetings and update daily/weekly respectively

  • Understand and react to any production issues: NCN's issued, shortages on the line, orders skipped, machines down

  • Entry level into the CA organization enabling the candidate to learn the role and prepare for future career advancement

 

Qualifications and requirements: (education, experience and certifications)

  • High School Diploma

  • Preferred technical college degree for future career advancement

  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred

  1. Effectively use ERP, LIMS, 

  2. Immediate follow through on all assigned job tasks

  3. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

  4. Demonstrated ability to perform tasks independently and achieve both quality and quantity of work

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $80,800 to $101,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
  • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations
