We are looking for:
The Production Coordinator - Amodel role provides operations leadership to the Amodel unit. The position is responsible for the safety of all employees and equipment in the Amodel operation. The position ensures the unit is operated in an environmentally sound and cost effective manner while supplying polymer meeting all quality requirements per plan to internal and external customers. The position reports directly to the Amodel Unit Manager. The individual in this position is expected to participate on local safety teams and to take an active role in implementing Manufacturing Excellence at Augusta.

Effectively utilize all the resources available including operators, supervisors, engineers, R&D, Plant Support Teams and external experts when required.

Ensure the Amodel Team has tools and training required to achieve their goals and function effectively in his/her absence.

Achieve outstanding HSE performance through Getting HSE Right, Achieving Safety Excellence, and B-Safe activities.

Ensures operations input on capital projects via CVP process.

Support the Asset team in efforts to maintain and grow market share while reducing working capital.

Identify, develop, and implement actions necessary to reduce fixed and variable costs.

You will bring:

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline is required.
-
10 years experience with at least 5 years in operations, maintenance, or engineering functions in a manufacturing facility.

HSE REQUIREMENTS:

Perform required safety audits per the Augusta Plant yearly audit plan.
-
Attend plant-wide safety/wellness sessions.
-
Review/perform required safety audits, JSA’s and What-if scenarios.
-
Complete all required CBTs on time.
-
Participate in PSM, PHA, and PSSR field reviews, as well as Follow-Up Incident investigations as needed.

Maintain a working knowledge of all plant environmental standards, ES-01 through ES-10.
-
Know the environmental permit limits for your assigned plant (air, waste water, storm water).
-
Maintain a working knowledge of the Hazardous Waste Rules (RCRA) to include storage, handling, sampling, transporting, manifesting, record keeping, and emergency response.

Maintain a working knowledge of the facility environmental plans (SPCC, Storm Water Pollution Prevention).

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $94,960 to $118,700 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
