We are looking for:
- Responsible for leading quality system improvement efforts across manufacturing.
- This may include technical and project management support to improve Customer Satisfaction levels, reduce cost of poor quality and minimize quality risks that could result in lost revenue, high consequence quality escapes or negative impact to Syensqo reputation.
- Responsible to lead RCCA (root cause corrective action) investigations, quality audits and provide quality support to manufacturing as assigned.

Collaborate with Site Leadership to identify quality improvement opportunities

Provide project management leadership to drive these improvement efforts and communicate as required,

Lead/facilitate activities to ensure Customer key characteristics for a product/process are known, the risk level identified and the corresponding process controls in place to mitigate the risk. This may extend to new or legacy products and processes,

Demonstrated skill in APQP or Six Sigma tools and techniques such as process mapping, leading design reviews, working knowledge of DMAIC[1] problem solving, FMEA (failure mode/effects analysis), Measurement System Analysis/Gauge R&R, interpretation of process/product specifications, and various process control strategies and methodologies,

Demonstrated experience in data analysis – statistical and inductive/deductive reasoning,

Lead and participate in, failure analysis and corrective action investigations. Lead and support Corrective Action investigations and tasks, to determine root cause and corrective actions needed.

Coaches/Instructs employees in quality assurance principles and methodology. Ensure operators are adequately trained to undertake the quality standards in accordance with customer and or quality system requirements.

Collaborate with Customer and site personnel to assess and manage changes that could negatively impact quality risk levels; demonstrate a “Quality as a Value” mindset & behavior,

Lead internal and support plant in preparation for and conduct external audits. May act as main contact in audit. Develop and coordinate corrective action procedures and plans. Lead auditor experience is required, Auditor certification a plus.

Working knowledge of AS-9100 Rev D/ISO-9000:2015 Aerospace Quality Management systems or similarly highly regulated industry;

Familiarity with NADCAP certification process (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) or IATF-16949 Automotive Quality Management System Standard (International Automotive Task Force)

Working knowledge of Composite/Adhesives Unit Operations or similar process industry,

The Position will handle ITAR and NIST controlled documentation and data along with Customer proprietary information
-
Comply with customer requirements by studying existing and new specifications, ensuring adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Share specialized knowledge with others. Represents company on high-level projects. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities (e.g. continuous improvement).

Works with site to monitor, reinforce and communicate all customer issues, quality escapes and other systemic quality issues.

Monitors product quality performance through SPC and CPK analysis of critical raw material and product parameters.

Timely disposition of materials identified as non-conforming, SMOG, and / or scrap
-
Maintains quality process stability to ensure favorable customer ratings, confidence and future sales

Owner of quality documentations pertaining to the quality system such as quality manual, quality procedures, process control documents, document control system, specifications, inspection documents, testing requirements, sampling plans, LIMs configuration and methods.

Strong oral and written communication skills, facilitates collaboration and coordination to solve complex problems, and demonstrated experience interacting and effectively communicating with all levels of operations, customer, and executive personnel. Ability to provide concise presentation of complex topics, easy to read and understand standards and technical documents

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $80,800 - 101,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
