We are looking for:
An Engineering Intern‘s main responsibility is to apply knowledge gained from their engineering education to address safety, quality, and/or manufacturing opportunities at the Syensqo, Greenville site. The Intern will lead and support projects that affect productivity and/or quality initiatives under the guidance of relevant technical mentors for their department. The Engineering Intern will collaborate with various departments, establish and maintain a line of communication with plant staff to achieve project goals and keep stakeholders informed about the progress of each project.

Work full time onsite in Greenville, TX (40 hours)

Manage and complete assigned projects under the guidance of engineering staff

Effectively communicate with plant staff to identify and determine solutions for assigned work.

Use SAP to perform daily functions.
-
Learn to navigate and use the document control system
-
Support management of change documentation to implement project solutions.
-
Support production activities by troubleshooting and completing tasks for improved operation.
-
Support the tracking of production metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Communicate with production teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.

Effectively prioritize time spent on the floor and working on projects.
Production Engineering Responsibilities:
-
You will learn to analyze and improve current processes, to manage the industrial and manufacturing excellence projects, and to ensure process safety and product quality within the unit.
Quality Engineering Responsibilities:
-
You will lead projects aimed at improving the quality of our products and the site's quality management system. You will work closely with the site quality team and production units to ensure that we meet and exceed the standard of quality expected of us from our aerospace customers.
Safety Engineering Responsibilities:
-
You will drive changes and improvements in processes to ensure safe and complaint production. You will work closely with the site safety team and production units in driving personnel and process safety.
Process Engineering Responsibilities:

You will successfully implement and lead production performance improvement projects, provide support to the engineering department in the various fields (safety/environment, quality, capacity, competitiveness), and may manage a team of technicians.
Maintenance Engineering Responsibilities:
-
You will evaluate current work procedures/methods and propose, describe, test and implement improvements, new techniques and methods, and provide specialized maintenance tasks and expertise. Will also be responsible for reliability & cost improvement projects and advising on failure analyses.

Bachelors in chemical or mechanical Engineering degree in progress

Basic understanding of mechanical and chemical systems and their practical application.

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical staff.

Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once.

Self-starter with attention to detail and customer- focused mindset.

Prior experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
