We are looking for:
A self-starter with a chemical processing background to drive improvement projects from concept through completion. This role is seeking a team player with the capability to improve safety, productivity, and quality by leading process changes and optimization initiatives.

Execute tactical, short-term support for site-based operational needs while owning longer-term strategic projects set for by the global process engineering team.

Lead and support technical projects across internal manufacturing sites and external tolling partners, from scoping and data collection through trials, implementation, and sustainment.

Provide operational support at external toll manufacturers as needed, including yield, OEE, SQC, production coordination, non-conformance reviews, and issue resolution.

Communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders (operations, quality, supply chain, HSE, M&T, CE, and external partners), ensuring alignment on priorities, timing, and deliverables.

You will bring:

Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Chemical Engineering.
-
5–10+ years of operational experience in a chemical manufacturing environment; preferably in a production or process engineering role.

Statistical background: demonstrated history of utilizing process data to drive change.

Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
-
Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment with operations, including off-hours shift as an exception to support trials in both union and non-union environments.

Excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred qualifications:
-
Prior polymer processing experience (polymerization, separations, dry powder handling).

Ability to provide technical guidance beyond core daily responsibilities.

Ability to self-prioritize to meet deliverable deadlines.

Knowledge of quality systems (ISO9001/ AS9100).

Six Sigma awareness or credentials, experience with data analysis tools (JMP).

Experience in a regulated environment (PSM, RMP) and in regulated end-market industries.

- The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $98,720 to $123,400. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, such as skills, experience, qualifications, etc. and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
