International Tax Manager

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The International Tax Manager is responsible for the preparation of detailed earnings and profits analysis, foreign tax credit, sub-part F income and identification of foreign source income for a foreign parented US consolidated group that includes multiple CFCs. The International Tax Manager will prepare Forms 5471, 8858, & 1118 in OneSource Tax software. They will work closely with senior members of the department to ensure complete and accurate filing of these forms with-in the filing of the Corporate Form 1120. The International Tax Manager will support international tax planning projects and model the impact on cash and ETR as it relates to these projects. The position will be responsible for responding to any applicable IRS information requests. Prepare withholding tax reports on U.S. source payments to non-US persons.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCES:
• Minimum BS in accounting or BS in Business with a major in accounting;
• Obtained an advanced degree in taxation and / or certification, preferably Masters in Taxation or CPA.
• 10+ years experience in international and domestic taxation;
• Minimum 10 years experience in corporate tax compliance, in a corporate environment or Big 4 or other accounting firm;
• Minimum 5 years experience with OneSource, CorpTax or other corporate tax compliance software;
• Minimum 10 years experience with EXCEL, WORD and PowerPoint;
• Experience with SAP accounting systems is a plus;
• Experience with transfer pricing compliance;
• Experience with internet-based tax research services;
• Must be able to quickly make decisions and recommendations around related tax issues/
• Ability to work as a team player in a very fast-paced environment;
• Experience or working knowledge of cross-border withholding and FIRPTA rules.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparation of:
- Detailed Earnings and Profits and Previously Tax Earnings and Profits analyses for multiple Controlled Foreign Corporations
- Foreign tax credit
- Sub-part F income
- Net CFC tested income (formerly GILTI)
- Foreign Derived Deduction eligible income (formerly FDII)
- APB 23 analysis
- Identification of foreign source income
• Preparation of International compliance forms, including 1118, 5471, 8858, 8832 8991, 8992, 8993, 5472, 926, etc;
• Work closely with senior members of departmental management to ensure complete and accurate filing of Corporate 1120;
• Preparation of Base Erosion and Anti-Abuse Tax (BEAT) calculations
• Track and analyze foreign income tax payments;
• Answer applicable IRS information requests;
• Support international tax planning projects. Modeling of cash and ETR impacts of tax planning projects;
• Prepare withholding tax reports Form 1042 & 1042s for withholding tax on U.S. source payments to non-US persons;
• Prepare disclosure statements and election forms for the US tax return related to various transactions of non-US entities;
- Maintain company organizational chart for the US consolidated group and CFCs;
- Obtain Certificates of Residency;
- Prepare foreign bank account reporting;
- Assist transfer pricing team with collecting information on intercompany transactions;
- Assist with repatriation planning;
- Stay current with respect to US international tax law provisions, changes, and latest developments.

• Competitive salary and benefits package;
• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $ 112,000 to $181,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives;
