We are looking for:

The Quality Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) functions for the Marietta, OH site. This role ensures effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS), compliance with internal and external standards, and supports production and R&D through analytical excellence. The Quality Manager fosters a culture of prevention, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as the appointed QMS Management Representative.
  • Ensure all QMS processes are established, implemented, and maintained.
  • Report on QMS performance and drive continual improvement initiatives.
  • Promote awareness of customer and regulatory requirements across the organization.
  • Coordinate and lead internal, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and corporate policies.
  • Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits; resolve findings.
  • Promote awareness of customer and regulatory requirements throughout the site.
  • Define, validate, and implement QC methods, SOPs, and control plans.
  • Ensure effectiveness, precision, and compliance of analytical results.
  • Maintain and improve SAP QM module data.
  • Conduct risk-based reviews to reduce test frequency and optimize lab efficiency.
  • Oversee lab instrumentation, calibration schedules, and continuous improvements.
  • Lead technology evaluations and develop long-term investment plans for analytical capability.
  • Maintain high performance in audits (zero findings/concerns).
  • Ensure rapid resolution of customer complaints and internal quality concerns.
  • Provide analytical and troubleshooting support to production and R&D.
  • Ensure QC activities support On Aim Quality (OAQ) and On Sales Quality (OSQ) targets.
  • Guarantee timely delivery of validated results and test reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop QA/QC teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop technical and scientific expertise in the team.

You will bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field required
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ CQE, ISO Lead Auditor) preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or management role
  • Demonstrated experience in QMS, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., EPA, OSHA, PSM, NSF, A2LA)
  • Strong scientific and technical knowledge in analytical chemistry and QC
  • High proficiency in quality systems, statistical tools, and SAP QM preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Effective leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities

 

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $115,000 to $149,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
