A Raw Material Distribution Buyer who will provide effective development and implementation of purchasing strategies developed by the Global RMD Manager. The Raw Material Distrubtion Buyer will manage a raw material portfolio purchased through Distributors with a direct impact to the profitability of Syensqo in North America. You can count on us for:

You will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Supply Chain, Economics, Business or related field; MBA a plus
-
Experience in Sales/Marketing in the specialty chemical industry a plus.

Proactive in attacking challenges and confident in setting and achieving stretch

An accomplished negotiator with the demonstrated ability to win value in situations

where suppliers may possess greater leverage.

Adept at using numerical and business analysis to influence organizational and

Proven ability to interact and influence all levels internally and with suppliers.

Ability to communicate and present ideas concisely in a multicultural environment.

Expertise in supply contract design and experience in achieving best in class

language for commercial standard terms (e.g. competitive price provisions, force

majeure, KPIs, etc.).

Ability to assess economic trends and conditions as they may impact the supply

markets.

SAP knowledge a plus

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $95,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
