We are looking for:

 

The Millwright Mechanic is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of the plant’s mechanical equipment.

 

 

We count on you for:

  • Measure, layout, fabricate, and install metallic and non-metallic piping systems.
  • Perform rigging as necessary following proper rigging practices and techniques (signaling, spotting, load distribution, etc.).
  • Read, interpret, and work from OEM mechanical drawings, working fabrication drawings, and P&IDs.
  • Read, interpret, and apply dimensions and corresponding tolerances, clearances, and fits from IOMs and fabrication drawings to rebuild, repair, and determine condition of rotating equipment.
  • Installation of various types of rotating equipment (pumps, fans, blowers, gearboxes, centrifuges, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of rotating equipment support systems (single & double mechanical seals, seal pots, dry gas mechanical seals, and seal flush systems.).
  • Perform precision shaft and sheave alignment using lasers and/or dial indicators.
  • Perform lubrication on rotating equipment.
  • Basic operation of components and troubleshooting knowledge of rotating equipment.
  • Aid or lead other millwright mechanics in the performance of assigned tasks.
  • Involves the use of a large variety of power tools, hand tools, precision measuring tools, and other equipment.
  • Use all standard machine shop tools and machine shop equipment.
  • Must be self-starter and accept job ownership. Expected to diagnose problems, plan and perform the necessary repairs with a minimum of supervision.
  • Responsible for tracking time, ordering parts on associated work orders during scheduled shift using SAP.
  • Perform other tasks within the Millwright Mechanic responsibilities as assigned.

You will bring:

 

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of industrial mechanic experience and/or associates degree/technical school certification in industrial maintenance preferred.  
  • Basic knowledge of computerized maintenance management system, SAP experience preferred.

  • Capable of reading and interpreting work instructions, drawings and equipment specifications.

  • The U.S. hourly salary is $41.25 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
