We are looking for:
The Project Engineer leads the development and execution of site capital projects while actively contributing to strategic growth initiatives at Syensqo’s Willow Island site. This role ensures that all projects meet safety, quality, and business objectives, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across operations.

- Operability and maintainability of new assets represent an improvement to the operation.
- Effectively resource project teams to meet project deliverables.
- Align engineering procedures, standards, and methods with site and project needs.
- Develop specifications and procedures for equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
- Provide technical support on all aspects of project development and execution.
- Engage in the development of work process improvement and area improvement team objectives.
- Lead selected work process improvement and area improvement team initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, and Procurement functions.
- Ensure the site meets its critical objectives by completing assigned elements of the HSE, Quality and Operation Improvement plans. Support advancement initiatives in the areas of Safety, Zero Defect, and Operations Improvement through utilization of a continuous improvement culture.

You will bring:
- BS degree in an Engineering field, with a preference for Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, with prior Project Management experience preferred.
- Manage an important and/or large project from initiation through completion.
- Control costs against a fixed budget.
- Lead a team to accomplish significant goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate resiliency in completing an assignment with significant time and resource constraints.
- Significantly improve performance and achieve results in a manufacturing environment.
- Effectively build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.

- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $94,960 to $118,700 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
