We are looking for: 

A highly motivated research scientist to join our team to develop new advanced composite materials for exciting automotive, motorsport, electronics and other industrial applications. Projects will focus on the development of novel and sustainable composite materials.

• Development of new composite products for the automotive market, taking them from conception, through development and scaleup, to their application

You will bring: 

• Applicants should be educated in a relevant technical subject (Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering etc.) preferably to PhD level.  Degree level candidates with relevant experience will also be considered

• Experience in composite materials and technologies is strongly desirable

• Enthusiastic team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proactive and creative with good problem-solving skills, through a scientifically rigorous approach

• Practical and hands-on, with a commitment to safety

• Experience in using statistical tools and methods

• Experience of people management, Enterprise Resource Planning (e.g. SAP) usage, New Product Introduction and scaleup, use of AI-tools for scientific projects, are all desirable

• Candidate must be authorised to work in the UK on ‘dual-use’ technologies
