We are looking for:
Two Warehouse Operatives to support safe, accurate and timely warehouse activities across Heanor Main Warehouse and Site 7. The roles operate on a weekly rotating shift pattern (05:50–14:15 / 13:30–22:00) and will require overtime on occasions to meet business demands.

We count on you for:

  • Supporting the Warehouse Team Leader with daily warehouse operations and administrative tasks.
  • Receiving raw materials and inbound goods; checking quantities and inspecting for defects/damage.
  • Locating, putting away and allocating stock to support customer orders and 3PL activities.
  • Preparing, picking, packing and shipping customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Issuing goods to production in line with requirements and procedures.
  • Performing daily inventory checks and supporting cycle counts, scrap and waste processes.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles using FLT equipment safely (Counterbalance and Aislemaster/Combi-Lift).
  • Coordinating transport with forwarders and supporting shipment documentation, including regulated/hazardous goods paperwork where applicable.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and participating in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
  • Executing warehouse transactions accurately in SAP (Logistics Execution WM/IM) and maintaining records.

You will bring:

  • Strong commitment to safety, ideally with experience in a similar warehouse/logistics environment.
  • Experience shipping hazardous goods and preparing regulated documents (preferred/advantageous).
  • Experience receiving goods and checking for defects/damage and delivery accuracy.
  • Understanding of inventory processes: cycle counts, discrepancies, scrap and waste management.
  • Experience using SAP Logistics Execution (WM and IM) and good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • FLT experience: Counterbalance and Aislemaster / Combi-Lift (with valid certification/licences as applicable).
  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Preferred: Full driving licence and willingness to drive a company vehicle for stock transportation in line with site rules.

Additional information:

  • Working hours are based on a weekly rotating shift pattern (05:50–14:15 / 13:30–22:00).
  • Overtime may be required at peak times to meet operational demand.
  • Role based across Heanor Main Warehouse and Site 7.
  • Compliance with site safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (including hazardous goods rules) is mandatory.
