Role and Responsibilities

Working a 12hr shift pattern; Overtime will be expected on occasion.

(Other shifts may be required, appropriate notice will be given)
Machining of cured composites by CNC (Setting/Operating/Programming.)
Use of LIMS, SAP, and various other PC based system.
Expected to demonstrate strong safety leadership.
Liaising with various areas of the business to ensure the demands of the business are met.
Ensuring high levels of housekeeping are maintained.

Experience and Skills

Be flexible – willing to adapt to various shift patterns to suit the demands of the business
Background (experience or education) of programming, setting, and operating CNC grinding and milling machines (3, 4-axis)
Interpret complex engineering drawings, technical specifications
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters
Conduct first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues to maintain quality and output

What We Offer

The UK-based annual base salary reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is £30,039.70 +16.6% shift. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
