Raw Material / Finished Goods Planner

We are looking for:

A Raw Materials / Finished Goods Planner (gn).

• Own the short- and mid-term planning and coordination of production, demand, and inventory schedules for designated machines and materials (including raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods).

• Develop, optimize, and communicate production schedules to maximize machine and material utilization, considering capacity, material availability, and business requirements.

• Monitor and manage material availability, including inventory control, analysis of stock levels, and implementation of actions to prevent shortages or excess inventory.

• Process MRP messages, coordinate purchase orders and priorities, and communicate material needs to both internal and external suppliers.

• Serve as a key liaison, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (such as Sales, Logistics, Production, and Procurement) and participating in site-wide planning processes (e.g., S&OP).

• Identify and implement improvement initiatives to optimize costs, processes, and product quality, including risk analysis and development of recommendations.

• Support the qualification of new raw materials and suppliers, assist in resolving supplier issues, and escalate concerns to the global procurement team as needed.

You will bring:

• Ideally, 2+ years of experience in planning, along with a background in supply chain, a degree in Supply Chain Management, or APICS certification.

• Experience with SAP in a planning or purchasing role is a strong advantage.

• Strong business acumen, with the ability to quickly absorb information and make sound decisions under pressure.

• A consistent, proactive approach, high energy, and the ability to work independently and take initiative.

• The capability to understand Syensqo’s manufacturing processes and their interdependencies.
